What To Expect: Steps

Reaction Treatment is a multi-step, deep-conditioning, frizz-taming, professional hair treatment aimed at repairing and restoring the oils and proteins that the hair has lost from perms, bleaches, highlights, colors, heat damage, environmental / UV damage and even over-processing. By replenishing the 3 key components of the hair: Moisture, Oil, and Proteins, the Reaction Treatment is perfect for frizz-prone hair types whether the hair is straight, natural, or curly. (Reaction Treatment is completely formaldehyde-free and will not alter curls.)  It's a simple system that any professional can complete in just 45 minutes. Reaction Treatment can be used as a stand-alone treatment or can be added on to any salon service (haircuts, colors, perms, iStraight System etc.) to complement and enhance the results with healthier-looking, beautiful texture.

iStraight System Steps:What to expect when you receive the Reaction Treatment service.

1: SHAMPOO & TOWEL DRY
The stylist will shampoo your hair with Innosys Clarifying Shampoo to remove any excess build-up from styling products and to prepare your hair for the application of the Reaction Treatment. After towel drying, the hair will be blow-dried 50% to 70%.
2: REACTION TREATMENT B1
Reaction Treatment B1 will be sprayed all over to restore lost proteins into the hair and to deposit the initial dose of amino acids. Collagen will strengthen and neutralize weak zones and create a protective barrier while Keratin, Wheat, and Corn proteins will help repair the hair intensively.
3: REACTION TREATMENT B2
Once the B1 has saturated the hair, Reaction Treatment B2 will be applied on top of the B1 in 1/2" to 1" sections. B2 will nourish the damaged cortex of the hair with supplemental nutrients, a second dose of amino acids, Collagen, Keratin, Silk, and Lecithin proteins.
4: PROCESSING
The hair will be processed under a dryer for 20 minutes (Alternatively, the treatment can be flat-ironed into the hair using temperatures of 140° to 150°F) followed by 4 minutes of cooling time.
5: RINSE (WITH OPTIONAL B3)
If the hair feels heavy, the stylist can choose to lightly shampoo the hair. For Optimal results, the Reaction Treatment B3 can be used as a finishing / conditioning rinse.
6: BLOW DRY & STYLE
That’s it! Your hair should now be soft, moisturized, detangled, manageable, shiny, silky and beautiful!
